APPOINTMENT

Viviane Zheng has been appointed general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang. She has 22 years of experience in different roles.

OPENING

The St. Regis Zhuhai, the luxury brand's 10th hotel in China, is scheduled to open in September. The hotel is located on the waterfront of Wanzai, Zhuhai, a coastal city known as the "Chinese Riviera" in Guangdong province. Situated on the top floors - the 41st to 72nd - of Zhuhai Tower, the iconic city landmark, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the vast Greater Bay and landscape of Zhuhai and Macao.

VR FEATURES

In cooperation with online travel agency Ctrip, Kuntai Hotel Beijing launched guest rooms featuring services based on virtual reality technology on June 15. A VR headset in these themed rooms on the 22nd floor enables guests to enjoy immersive gaming, videos and movies.

More than 100 people participated in a morning session of the Pullman Run, initiated by Pullman Shenyang Oriental Ginza, in early June. The St. Regis Tianjin, in cooperation with Youxi Wedding Planning, presented a French-style summer wedding scene at the hotel's river lounge by Haihe River earlier this month, aiming to offer multiple choices to soon-to-be couples who prefer Western, natural wedding styles.
