Rite of Spring

François-Xavier Roth (born in Paris, 1971) is one of today's most charismatic and enterprising conductors. Since 2015, he has been general music director of the city of Cologne, leading both the Gürzenich Orchestra and the Opera.

Formed in the summer of 2003 by Roth, Les Siècles comprises outstanding young players pooled from the very finest French ensembles.

On Sunday night, Roth will take the baton to lead Les Siècles in a symphony concert to play tracks including Claude Debussy's Prelude a I'apres-midi d'un faune (Prelude to the Afternoon), Jeux (Games), and Igor Stravinsky's Rite of Spring.
