Vin Diesel's upcoming movie being promoted in China


With action giant Vin Diesel returning to the espionage sequel xXx 4, the new movie has begun its marketing in China, despite the film will start shooting more than six months later.
The franchise's third installment, xXx 3: Return of Xander Cage, grossed more than 1.1 billion yuan ($177.5 million) in China in 2017, nearly three times more than it earned in the United States and Canada.
The H Collective, the Los Angeles-based film company which is one of the hit franchise' investors, recently announced to team up with Beijing-based HCH Media to work on licensing, merchandise development, marketing and copyright sales in Chinese mainland.
Besides, HCH Media will also join the production procedure, such as giving suggestion about the casting.
Chinese actress Wu Jingxuan, or more known as Jane Wu, will also join the cast. Spending most of her time in Hollywood, Wu has performed in the big-budget blockbusters Captain America: Civil War and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
With the third sequel's helmer DJ Caruso back as director, xXx 4 is expected to begin filming in November and may shoot some sequences in China.
