Artist creates collection of paper-cuts to welcome Year of the Dog

Li Xia, a Manchu paper-cutting artist in Jilin city, Jilin province, recently finished a collection that includes 100 dog paper-cuts in different shapes to welcome the Year of the Dog.

Li spent one year creating the 22-meter-long art works, through which she hoped to express her best wishes to the citizens in her city as well as her respect for traditional Chinese culture.
