To mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, a new dance drama, Kubuqi, was staged in Beijing, inspired by a local fable about a magic flower that cured diseases among residents living in the Kubuqi desert. The theater piece coincides with an exhibition of traditional Chinese paper cutting on display in Baotou city.
