JOHANNESBURG - A total of 115 people have been confirmed killed in a building collapse in Nigeria's commercial capital Lagos, a South African official said Monday.

Jeff Radebe, a South African minister in the Presidency, said that 84 of them were South Africans.

South African government sources previously said there were 349 South Africans in Lagos visiting the church at the time of the accident.

The building at the Synagogue Church of All Nations collapsed on Sept 12.
