Novak Djokovic, who missed the China Open due to injuries, said he is doing fine and recovering in Shanghai when interviewed by China Daily.

Djokovic said he felt happy, fulfilled, and content in every part of his life.

He started playing tennis at age 4, and decided to become a professional when he was 8 or 9. He said people should choose to do what they really enjoy, but acknowledged we do not all know who we really are and what we really love.

"The only suggestion I can give for the young is never give up their dreams and follow their intuition," he said. "Intuition is their connection to the god. When people are young, they are more connected, and they feel more present. That's why they have such intuitive signs for the adults, and they should always keep and nurture that."

He would like to be remembered as a human being who used his privilege and success to help others, especially children through sport or education.

"I'll do my best for people to remember me not only as a tennis player, but also as somebody who really makes a mark in a greater proportion."

Novak said, since becoming a father three years ago, his biggest pastime has been parenting. And he loves nature because it can soothe his nerves, so he enjoys skiing and getting outdoors.
