FIFA to better moniter racism at World Cup

GENEVA - World football governing body FIFA announced Tuesday that it will better monitor racism incidents at World Cup matches.

FIFA said it will help train and appoint anti-discrimination officers to work at qualifying matches for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

FIFA also acknowledged the importance of using the next World Cup to "showcase FIFA's zero-tolerance policy against any form of discrimination".
