She coached China's women's team from 1995 and led the team to win the third place in the year's World Cup and the 1996 Atlanta Olympics runners-up. After coaching in Italy for six years, Lang took over team US from 2005 to prepare for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games where the US beat China 3-2 in a preliminary game and eventually won silver. In 2009, she returned to Guangdong Hengda women's club and led the team to win the champion in 2011-12 league season. [Photo/Xinhua]
