A group of government officials, experts, and journalists paid a visit to rural areas in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province from Nov 20 to 21.

During their stays in the villages of Tangling and Xifeng, as well as the town of Shiye, the group learned about rural development in Zhenjiang by talking with local officials and villagers.

Professor Tang Renwu, president of the institute of government management at Beijing Normal University, had some words of praise for Liu Shu'an, Party secretory of Tangling, when he heard about Liu’s contributions to the village's development.

Zhenjiang is the last stop on the group's trip, as they have already visited Nantong, Taizhou, and Changzhou in order to observe Jiangsu's progress in carrying out the national strategy of rural rejuvenation.
