China: intellectual property and sci-tech innovation hotspot
In the next five years, China will step up efforts to shorten the trademark application period within four months and cut the examination time by one third. It will also push forward the construction of an IP protection center for efficient patent review and rights protection. Meanwhile, China will intensify the protection of foreign intellectual property rights, enhance communication with small and medium-sized enterprises, private and foreign-invested companies, and create first-class innovation and business environment.
