SICIP delegates exchange in Hong Kong, Taiwan universities

A delegation of 17 doctoral and master’s candidates, headed by Zhu Xuezhong, the assistant dean of Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property (SICIP), enjoyed exchanges with Hong Kong and Taiwan universities from Aug 12 to 18.
Sponsored by the exchange and research center for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan IP education of Tongji University, the delegation went to Shih Hsin University, Soochow University, National Sun Yat-sen University, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong for academic communications.
During the seven-day visits, delegates listened to speeches given by IP experts from each university and discussed IP protection and development. Delegates also discussed related issues with students at those universities.
The delegation gained more knowledge about the current situations in IP systems in Hong Kong and Taiwan, but also promoted future cooperation and communication in the IP field between universities on the Chinese mainland, and in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
