A spectacular array of lights brought Changzhou to life on July 1, as the International Light Show opened at Tianmu Lake Landscape Park.

Lasting until August 31 in the East China city in Jiangsu province, the light show features vivid neon installations showcasing the local tea culture, bamboo, Zhuangyuan (the top scorer in ancient Chinese imperial examinations) and the Chinese keys to longevity.

The light show cost three million yuan ($449,000) to build, and was developed by the Sichuan company Dragon Culture & Arts. The company has European CE certification and sets the stage for CCTV evening parties.

Using modern LED lighting technology, the show has several parts, including a lighting landscape area, lighting exhibition and interactive activities. Visitors can enjoy an unforgettable summer night at the show.

Tianmu Lake Landscape Park also features a whole host of aquatic entertainment for all the family.
