Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall receives 120 historical items

The Memorial Hall for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre received a donation of 120 historical items from Lu Zhaoning, a Chinese-American born in Nanjing, on March 17.

The items included newspapers, letters, and books recording facts of atrocities the Japanese troops during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-1945).

Lu has donated more than 500 historical records to the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall since 2004.

Sept 3 of 2015 marks the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
