The Blue Paper of China's Provincial Competiveness was issued by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on Mar 2.

The index system of provincial overall economy competiveness established by the Blue Paper takes various factors that influence the overall competiveness in market economy.

This assessment index system composed by four levels of indices covers economic fields of macro economy, industrial economy, sustainable development, financial work, development environment, government function and planning and coordination.

The Blue Paper indicates that, in economic globalization, a provincial administrative region should face fierce competition from both domestic and foreign sectors, and create and ensure competitive advantage while developing the economy.
