全域旅游(quányù lǚyóu):All-for-one tourism
In the Government Work Report he delivered on Sunday at the fifth plenary session of the 12th National People's Congress, the country's top legislature, Premier Li Keqiang called for improved tourist facilities and services, and for a big push to develop rural tourism, recreational tourism, and "all-for-one tourism". It is the first time that the phrase "all-for-one tourism" has been mentioned in the Government Work Report, which has drawn public attention.
Up until now, China's tourism industry has focused on developing tourist scenic spots, hotels and restaurants. And in 2016, China's overall tourism revenue reached about $4.69 trillion yuan ($679.61 billion). However, the established tourism model cannot satisfy people's diverse tourism demands nowadays.
Experts say that all-for-one tourism is in accordance with the current tourism trend, which is a significant guidance to the development of China's tourism in the future.
The United Nations World Tourism Organization estimates that the overall contribution of the tourism industry to China's national economy is 11 percent, and it accounts for 10.26 percent of jobs.
