Taiwan's Matsu Kaoliang Spirit, known as the "Moutai of Taiwan", opened its flagship store in Dandong in Northeast China's Liaoning province on August 12, bringing Taiwan's rich liquor culture to the city.

Matsu Kaoliang is renowned as the premier white spirit in Taiwan. The store in Dandong is its first flagship store in Liaoning province. An insider said that as Dandong's influence in the eastern part of Northeast China increases, more Taiwan food brands will enter Dandong to expand their businesses.
