Located in Dandong Instrument and Device Industrial Park of Liaoning province, the 30,000-square-meter Dandong Aolong Radioactive Instrument Co Ltd is China's radioactive instrument research and production base.

Its dominating products are X-ray detectors and high-frequency high-voltage X-ray detectors, which are widely used in astronautics, aeronautics, shipbuilding, automobile and oil pipelines. China's Shenzhou manned spacecraft uses the company's X-ray detectors to test six of its major systems.
