Taicang in Jiangsu province witnessed the signing of 20 industrial projects worth over 10 billion yuan ($1.41 billion) in Taicang Hi-Tech Zone on Sept 19.

The projects cover several of the key industries of Taicang, including high-end aviation parts, smart equipment, new energy vehicles, and additive manufacturing.

Taicang Hi-Tech Zone is a major economic contributor, while the new projects will accelerate the city's incubation of a leading aviation sector and boost the development of a modern industrial system, said Shen Mi, Party secretary of Taicang.

The city of Taicang will seize the opportunities and attract more investors with continuous efforts to improve its business environment, offering the most considerate and effective services for investors from home and abroad, Shen added.

The group signing was a part of the 2019 Taicang Golden Autumn Economic & Trade Month, an annual event to promote investment, cooperation, and business.
