The closing ceremony of the seminar among ministerial-level officials from developing countries was held in Taicang on May 22.

Organized by China's Center of Reproductive Health and Family Care, the seminar aims to introduce China's experience in population, sustainable development and poverty alleviation to developing countries.

Some 28 representatives from seven developing countries, including Nepal, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Kenya, Cambodia and Sudan, attended the seminar.

These participants also visited the public service facilities in Beijing, Shanghai and Taicang to strengthen their cooperation and exchanges with China in the above-mentioned fields.

Founded in 2005, the Center of Reproductive Health and Family Care in China has organized many foreign aid human resources trainings covering population and development, population and climate change, and sexual and reproductive health.
