A Taicang-based German company Taicang Kern-Liebers Springs recently donated a recycling computer room to a local primary school, Taicang Daily reported on Oct 20.

As the first German company in Taicang, Kern-Liebers Springs not only makes contributions to China-Germany cooperation, but also actively participates in many welfare activities.

As a participant of the recycling computer charitable activity, Kern-Liebers Springs donated a collection of computers to the school to help the primary school establish their own computer room. After reconfiguring the computers' accessories and installing teaching softwares, the company's employees sent the computers to the school and taught the teachers how to use the programs.

The recycling computer charitable activity is aimed at donating commercial computers which cannot meet member companies' requirements any more to rural schools which have no computer rooms. The activity has attracted many enterprises in Taicang to donate their outdated computers.
