Vocational skill competition boosts personnel training

The sixth vocational skill competition for high skilled talents held its final contest at Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) in Jiangsu province on June 27. The contest drew in 904 contestants from 252 enterprises, all of whom competing for top prizes.

The contest comprised of 12 events, which focused on bio-medicine and nanotechnology. This year saw the inclusion of the bio-medicine competition to coincide with SIP's prioritization of the development of the bio-medicine industry.

The bio-medicine event drew in the most applicants from all the events, attracting 241 from 43 enterprises. It was co-sponsored by Suzhou BioBAY and the Suzhou Industrial Park Institute of Services Outsourcing, and was organized by Suzhou BioTOP Technical Service Co (BioTOP).

The competition also set 24 prizes worth 240,000 yuan for enterprises that demonstrated excellent organization. The move was made to encourage enterprises in the SIP to work together with the park on personnel training.

The annual contest serves as a platform for high skilled talents to improve their professional skills.

BioTOP is based in Suzhou, Jiangsu province and is an independent third-party agency providing analytical and testing services accredited with the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). BioTOP's management practices strictly comply with the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
