Taicang Qilin Marine Outfitting Co, an enterprise manufacturing ship accessories and packaging materials in Taicang, Jiangsu province, has made efforts to tap into the global market.

To achieve the task of going global, Qilin has cooperated with Warren Synthetic Leather (Suzhou) Co, a company that specializes in the development of PU leather products, on the manufacturing of quality ferry seats. The seats have been sold throughout the world.

In 2014, Qilin and Warren became the ferry seats supplier of seven passenger vessels purchased by Brazil's Rio de Janeiro, beating competitors from the US and Australia with their high-quality products. The two companies' products have undergone and passed rigorous tests of structural strength, constant acceleration and flame-retardant.

The first vessel was delivered to Brazil in November, 2014, and was visited by Premier Li Keqiang in May this year during his tour in Rio de Janeiro.

Zhou Jian, the manager of Warren, said they will step up efforts to develop more products to further make inroads in overseas markets.
