Founder and CEO of IPC International Group
Steven Leow is a Malaysian Chinese whose ancestors hail from Guangdong province.
He is the founder and CEO of IPC International Group and a guest professor at the University of Berkley, Michigan. He also holds an honorary PhD in international marketing from Inter American University (IAU).
Since 2007, he has worked as a consultant for IMAL Global, an honorary trade and investment advisor, and the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Panama in Indonesia.
He was once vice-president of the China Local Arts Association, vice secretary-general of the China Folk Culture Professional Committee, secretary-general of the China Public Relationship Association Union, and vice secretary-general of the China Public Relationship Association International Exchange Committee.
Steven Leow has won numerous awards, including the fifth and sixth Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise – Keris Award, Excellence Recognition Night 2008 - Asia Pacific Top 10 CEO Award, third Malaysia Business of the Year 2008 Award, 2008 Global China Top 10 Financial and Intelligent Person award, 2008 Hong Kong TaKungPao World Excellence Chinese People Award, and 2009 World Economy Top 10 Chinese Entrepreneur Award. In 2009, he received the title “Yang Amat Mulia Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP)” from the Malaysian royal families.
In 1999, Steven Leow started IPC Shopping Services, which grew to become IPC International Group in 2001. IPC offers its member enterprises efficient and affordable services in different fields and countries, bringing profit opportunities and sales promotions.
In addition to business success, Steven Leow is a caring philanthropist. After the Wenchuan Earthquake, he sponsored a charity performance in Malaysia and collected 5 million yuan ($803,000) to help victims rebuild their homes.
