The big wine show Vinexpo plans more than 60 wine and spirit related events from May 24 to 26, but Italian chefs from Hong Kong will take the stage on the middle day to showcase that country's cuisines. Italy is the trade show's country of honor this year, though exhibitors from 34 countries are booked to present their best wines. Vinexpo organizers plan a conference on Italian wines in Asia, along with masterclasses, tastings and product launches. In addition to the cooking demos, an "Aperitivo Italiano" event will offer Italian-style aperitifs for exhibitors, buyers and the media. The China Wine Conference, a popular event at the previous Vinexpo Hong Kong, is back for an encore this year.

May 24-26, Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
