A recent photography exhibition in Madrid, Spain focused its spotlight on China's cultural heritages that could be the envy of the world.

The exhibition is co-sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in Spain and Madrid Culture Bureau. It presents eighty pictures submitted by top Chinese photographers. They have captured World Heritage sites in China as well as the daily life of people living around these sites.

Li Qiangguang, Deputy Director of China Photographers' Association, said, "Photography is nicknamed an international language. We organized the exhibition in order to introduce China's cultural heritages to people in Spain."

"These are top-notch pictures. It is important to present China and Chinese culture in an interesting way like at this exhibition. It deepens Spanish people's understanding about China."

The exhibition coincided with China's traditional Lantern Festival. Organizers prepared special treats to visitors, including sweet dumplings and Chinese folk music.
