Bibigo, one of South Korea's largest restaurant companies, has officially entered Shanghai's food scene recently, opening its first restaurant in Shanghai's World Financial Center in the Lujiazui area on Sept 1.

As a branch of CJ group, which is the largest food company in South Korea, Bibigo offers fresh and healthy Korean cuisine all over the world.

The brand name "Bibigo" comes from a Korean word bibim, which means "to mix". Customers are offered different choices of rice, toppings and sauces, with which they can make their own bibimbap rice by mixing those ingredients.

Korea cuisine pays attention to the balance of nutrition, and Bibigo follows the traditional cooking but combines with modern tastes to provide people with delicious, healthy and fresh dinning.

Since 2010, Bibigo has continued to explore the global market, and has opened restaurants in Beijing, Los Angeles, Singapore, London, Tokyo and Jakarta.
