My overall opinion of future media is that both print media and digital media will continue to exist and develop to a better stage.

In the term of print media, it will continue its outlook, however it will improve with the help of newer technology, printed book will smell sweet when it mentions flowers, it will smell awful when it mentions something bad, we can even hear the sound of wave when it mentions sea, and we can feel a little quivering when it refers to earthquake. Just like those pieces of newspaper and books in Harry Potter, printed media will have magic in the future.

However, when it comes to digital media, I think it will continue to bring lots of surprises to our world. First and the most important thing is that digital media can reach most of the world thus everyone can use this technology conveniently.

As we may see in the future, digital media may change the way we interact with the government. All the departments of the government can provide their services online, we no longer have to walk a long way and wait in a long queue to just get a seal. Additionally with the help of the Internet, the public can see the documents and procedures of the government just in the sun thus it’s easier for the public to supervise them.

Secondly, digital media can change the way social organizations work, they can summon people online, as it may have greater influence and spread to more places. To some degree, everyone in this new digital world will have its own organization which may include people from far away and gain efficiency.

Thirdly, our personal life may change totally; we may use electronic devices in almost every field. For example, we may have personal servant reminding our daily schedule using hologram technology; we may travel all around the world just sitting in a room with all-dimensional digital media; we can attend classes given by famous professors around the world without leaving our home; we can try different kinds of clothes and try to change our hairstyle with the help of a computer and a camera without do them in real world.

Besides these changes, we may find the relationships among people change a lot on account of digital media. We can make friends with foreigners online and keep contact with our older friends. But will it change more? I am wondering if we as some information carriers can get access to some computers and be transferred into a platform and meet "visual people" there.

However, as technology develops so quickly, there must be some regulations and laws to prevent from the wrong use of these technologies. And I hope good characters will be seen as models and be imitated by the public.
