Abstract artist's solo show in Beijing

Li Lei, one of China's representative artists in abstraction, will hold a solo exhibition, titled The Apsaras' Flowers, at Beijing Minsheng Art Museum from Dec 23 to Feb 20.

He will display paintings, sculptures and installations and stage performances produced over the past five years, in which he reveals his thoughts on life and death and changes of time and space.

Also the director of China Art Museum Shanghai, Li has been dedicated to artistic creation in which he works with various mediums to present a theatrical effect.
