Material women and stingy men are most hated

Most singles think they have not encountered their ideal partner yet. Women who are highly cultured and steeped in propriety are most favored by men, while family-oriented and considerate men are most favored by women.

On the contrary, being too focused on money, causing problems out of nothing and narrow mindedness in women are top three characteristics that are hated by men. While being stingy, haggling over every ounce, having feminine qualities and narrow mindedness in men are the top four unacceptable traits by women.

About 81 percent of women are concerned about men's economic strength, followed by their medical history and sexual ability.

About 26 percent of women want to command financial power in the family, while 17 percent of men hold the same opinion. But a more prevalent idea is "keeping finances independently but setting up a common savings account for women to command".
