Guangzhou marathon kicks off

More than 20,000 athletes from over 40 countries and regions took part in the annual event in three races, 42.195km, 21.0975km and 5km respectively. It is the third year of the marathon. This year's event attracted more foreign participants with 107 from Japan, 21 from the US and 12 from Canada. Many runners were dressed in cosplay costumes to add fun.[Photo/IC]
