KUNMING - At least 9 were killed and another 24 injured after a 47-seater coach overturned on an expressway in Nanhua county of Southwest China's Yunnan province late Saturday, local authorities said Sunday.
The accident happened at about 11:25 pm Saturday when the coach with 37 passengers aboard was heading towards Dali from Chuxiong, according to the information office of the Chuxiong Yi autonomous prefecture government.
All the injured have been sent to local hospitals.
The cause of the accident remains unknown.
