China expects 'positive' results from G20 summit

BEIJING -- The G20 summit scheduled next month in London would be able to achieve "positive" results with the joint efforts of all parties, said Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi Saturday.

Yang made the remarks at a press conference on the sidelines of the annual session of China's National People's Congress, or the parliament.

An editorial of the People's Daily has called on China's top political advisory body to made due contributions to help the country weather through difficulties.
