China to increase supervision over postal service

(Xinhua) Updated: 2015-12-01 10:41

BEIJING - Postal enterprises should compensate their clients for lost and damaged parcels within seven days, according to a new regulation that will come into effect on Tuesday.

People can file complaints to administrative organs if postal enterprises fail to make the compensation in time, said the newly revised regulation on the administration of postal services.

Agencies with the China Securities Regulatory Commission should perform enforcement measures that include freezing and sealing accounts while investigating cases.
