You have been described as an entirely self-made woman who has achieved success the hard way. How do you manage your busy schedule?

It is all about working hard and proper planning. As the head of the company, I have to set an example and I believe in doing so through hard work and managing my work schedule properly.

Sometimes I have to work through the night.

What words of encouragement would you give to prospective entrepreneurs and young people?

Try your best to make your job better.

When you have setbacks in your career, don't give up or compromise on fundamentals.

What kind of sporting activities do you do in your free time?

I do not indulge in any sporting activity, other than walking.

Some people are born to make sacrifices to benefit others by spending more time on work.

You wrote a book, Regretless Pursuit, or Xingqiwuhui in pinyin, a few years ago. What kind of books do you read?

Though I read all kinds of books, it is books with positive messages that are my favorite.

Sometimes, a book which you think is not really good will have some information that is really useful or inspiring for others.

You have become an idol for many young people, especially for those who want to start their own businesses. Do you have any role models in your life?

At present, I do not think about this.

But when I was a sales director at Gree more than 10 years ago, I was very impressed by the then-Premier Zhu Rongji, who was determined to fight corruption.
