Infiniti to help improve lives of autistic children

By Wang Wen (China Daily) Updated: 2014-10-13 13:44

As many as 16 distributors will be chosen during the next two years and they will work with local autism organizations and families. The help network is expected to cover the whole country in the future.

The auto brand started a public welfare project in September that people can access and get involved with on its official Wechat account.

"Infiniti not only provide advanced products and services to customers, but also takes the company's social responsibility seriously to give back to society in the long term," said Daniel Kirchert, managing director of Infiniti China.

Infiniti has put huge effort into the project, Kirchert said, and its only purpose is to improve the lives of autistic children and their families.

"Infiniti is not only a donator, but is also involved in the whole process of the project from designing, supervising to evaluating," said Li Jin, secretary general of the One Foundation.

The brand invited film star Zhou Xun, who was recently married, to be an ambassador for the project with her husband and help appeal to the public to support the cause.
