China-Pakistan Entrepreneurs International Seminar opens in Beijing

On the morning of October 13, "One Belt and One Road" China-Pakistan Economic Corridor- China and Pakistan International Entrepreneurs Seminar opening ceremony was held in Beijing Tsinghua Unisplendour International Center. It was co-sponsored by RDI international think tank project of the Chinese Academy of Social, Tsinghua University Real Estate Presidential Chamber of Commerce, Pakistan China Institute, International Green Economy Association and other agencies. Zhao Baige, a member of NPC Standing Committee, deputy chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and Chairman of RDI International think-tank project Expert Committee of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Cai Fang, a member of NPC Standing Committee, member of Rural and Agriculture Committee, vice president of CASS, deputy head of RDI think tank project; and deputy head of the group, Saleem Mandviwalla, Pakistan Senator, and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Senate; Luo Xi, general manager of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation; Chen Huan, deputy head of Chinese working group of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank Preparation; Khalid Masood, Pakistan's Ambassador to China; Chen Xinfa, Party Secretary of Karamay Municipality in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and others attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Jin Bo, Executive Director of Tsinghua University Real Estate Presidential Chamber of Commerce, presided over the opening ceremony.

Zhao Baige,a member of NPC Standing Committee,deputy chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and Chairman of RDI International think-tank project Expert Committee of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences pointed out in the speech that the Entrepreneurs International Seminar is a pragmatic platform for implementation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor through the promotion of enterprise cooperation. It is an all-dimensional connection through the integration of the policy, industries, laws and regulations, standards, information, investment and financing, case studies and field research, and takes the integration of "government - market - community - think tank" as the service model. The training lasts for seven days, attracting more than one hundred business representatives from China, Pakistan, UAE and Kazakhstan, covering areas of new energy, electric, law, finance, consulting, information technology, iron and steel, building materials, construction, household appliances, chemical industry, environmental protection, tourism, real estate etc. During the training, RDI international think-tank platform will organize a team of experts like Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation to provide a comprehensive guidance for the students, covering policy, industry, law, standard, information, investment and financing and other aspects. The parties will hold discussion and interaction centered by five sub-topics - industrial cooperation, laws and standards, information industry, investment and financing and case sharing. Also field investigation and inspection will be carried out so as to achieve all-around connection. Zhao said RDI international think tank, as a new think tank platform with Chinese characteristics, pragmatic, professional and efficient, is willing to provide a full range of intellectual support and integrated services for "One Belt and One Road", promote the division of labor and cooperation in enterprises "going global" process and improve enterprise to "expand overseas business collectively". Also it hopes to help enterprises coordinate and solve the difficulties and problems emerged in "One Belt and One Road" so as to further stimulate the market element dynamic and more effectively give play to the fundamental role of the market.
