National emergency medical teams helping makeshift hospitals in Wuhan

"Thanks to the doctors and nurses from Xiangya. Not only have they given us excellent physical treatment but also great psychological support," said the first patient discharged from Wuchang Fang Cang makeshift hospital on Feb 11 during a video interview.

The National Emergency Medical Team with The Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University was founded in 2012 and has been actively participating in disaster rescue missions and voluntary medical services in rural areas.

The Second Xiangya Hospital of the Central South University has sent a total of 177 medical workers to Wuhan since the epidemic broke out.
