Inclusion Factory expands, offers more opportunities

The Sino-German Taicang Inclusion Factory has built an additional 900 square meters of construction area and will offer 50 more jobs to people with disabilities, local media reported on May 25.

"We have already offered high quality vocational training and professional development programs to over 20 people with mental disabilities. The added space will help promote the inclusion of those suffering from mental disabilities in the workforce and consequently in society as a whole," said a spokesperson for the Taicang factory.

The factory is the first public benefit factory to be established by a German enterprise in Taicang and has helped many disabled individuals find jobs. The factory is working with the Taicang Special Education School in its efforts help integrate people with disabilities into society through meaningful employment.
