The China (International) Commercial Space Online Symposium was hosted by the Third China Space Conference in Taicang and aired on popular live steaming apps such as Douyu and Bilibili on April 25.

The symposium was attended by experts, entrepreneurs, and investors from China and abroad, who voiced their opinions and worked to improve international cooperation in commercial aviation.

Representatives from Taicang said they cherished this opportunity and organized a roadshow to showcase the city's business environment, talent policies, innovation capabilities, and strong aviation industry.

The roadshow attracted 10 investors and agreements for five projects costing 500 million yuan ($70.67 million) were signed.

Aviation is one of Taicang's key industries and is supported by the Yangtze River Delta Research Institute, which was jointly established by the Northwestern Polytechnical University, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, and the Taicang municipal government in January 2019.

The city's aviation sector is strong in intelligent manufacturing, airborne equipment, aero-engines, critical materials, and other supporting industries such as aviation-related tourism and aviation-related education and training.
