Huangshan city welcomed a record number of tourists during the recent Tomb-Sweeping Festival.
Taiping Lake and ancient villages in southern Anhui province were popular as local hotels and small inns had few vacancies.
Xiuning county received over 100,000 tourists on April 3. Huangshan Mountain saw 34,837 visitors, a 47.8 percent increase.
Guniujiang, Jiulong and Lixi in Qimen county drew more than 14,000 tourists, while guesthouses, hotels, and inns experienced an occupancy rate of 97 percent.
