Doreen Wang to drive Kantar in China

Consulting firm Kantar Group named Doreen Wang (pictured) as CEO of its Chinese operations. Wang will be responsible for sales innovation, strengthening relations with current partners, and recruiting more talent for the local team. Global CEO Eric Salama said China has been an important market for Kantar, and Wang will make use of her insights and industry experience to drive the company's business in China to a new high.

Aker Solutions hires Mao Zhen as GM

Engineering company Aker Solutions appointed Mao Zhen as group senior vice-president and general manager for Chinese operations. Mao reportedly has over 18 years of experience across multiple fields, including engineering, operations, and financing. Dean Watson, COO of Aker Solutions, said Mao has abundant industry experience in energy and that he expects further growth in the company's Chinese market.

Huaneng names Deng Jianling as director

Energy company China Huaneng Group named Deng Jianling as board director and general manager, taking over from Huang Yongda. Prior, Deng served power company China Huadian in multiple management roles, including deputy general manager, deputy chief engineer and director for operations.
