Photographer captures online shopping trend in China

Liu Jun and his family are from Horqin Right Front Banner in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Liu and his family are Mongolians, whose elder generation lived a nomadic and herding life. He has settled down in Ulanhot, but returns to a Mongolian yurt every spring and autumn. While living in the yurt, he had to drive 140 kilometers to the town to buy necessaries. Since he began to shop online in 2012, he has spent over 30,000 yuan, mostly on necessities. To Liu Jun and his family, the greatest benefit brought by online shopping is its convenience, which saves time and energy on the road. [Photo by Huang Qingjun/photoint.net]
