The Asian Curators' Forum organized by the Guangdong Museum of Art and the National Art Museum of China will be held in Guangdong Museum of Art on Sept 11-13.

With the focus on Asian art development, the forum has attracted approximately 80 directors and senior curators of world-class museums, art museums and art institutes from Asia, Europe and the Americas.

It is the first time Asian artists have gathered in China to make presentations to the rest of the world.

According to Guangdong Museum of Art, leading institutions such as the Tate Modern in the UK and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the US were invited.

The theme for this forum is "Asian Sensibilities and the Asian Experience".

There are keynote speeches and round-table conferences and an exhibition will focus on the work of curators and art institutes from Asia and Europe.
