Taiwan's Wen signs with Sun Entertainment

Taiwan singer-actress Landy Wen signed a contract with Hong Kong star management company Sun Entertainment Culture Limited in Beijing on Monday.

Taiwan singer-actor Nicky Wu, who is also signed with Sun, presented Wen with a horse painting to wish her a smooth start with the company.

The 34-year-old Wen, who hails from the Atayal tribe in Taiwan, released her 10th album at the end of last year. Bursting into the spotlight at age 19, she has collaborated with Taiwan "King of Pop" Jay Chou, singing the hit song Roof. Her debut album, Sixth Sense, released in 2000, went platinum. Wen will begin her first tour across Asia this year.
