Arguments made in India about toys made in China and beyond

It's interesting to note how children today seem more aware of the ways of the world.

When I told my son that I had got an offer to work in China, he wasn't particularly excited. Like most kids his age, he thought that the United States was the place to be in. When I showed him photographs of some dazzling cities in China on the internet, he was somewhat convinced that the place was hip. I reminded him that just a year ago he had wanted to visit China because all his toys seemed to be made in China. That seemed to do the trick.

I contrasted this with how different my own viewpoint about the world had been when I was my son's age.
