If I were to get my hands on $20 million, the last thing I'd do is spend all of it on one thing. Least of all a pair of shoes. However, the opportunity presented itself in Dubai on Oct 14.

The so-called Moon Star Shoes feature solid gold heels, 30 carats of diamonds and pieces of meteorite. Designed by Antonio Vietri, the shoes were unveiled at the Made in Italy, Designed in Emirates Fashion Week earlier last month.

It's good the shoes are made of precious materials because they're pretty ugly. If anyone does buy them, I imagine they'll eventually make their way to a backstreet jeweler to be cannibalized.
