Society: Hukou to get digital replacements

Guangdong province has introduced electronic hukou, or household registration, to gradually replace print hukou booklets for residents. The electronic version includes all the data of a family listed in a print one. This will provide greater convenience, because it can be scanned and saved in mobile phones, according to a statement released by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Public Security on Monday.
