GE debuts latest tech at CIIE, strengthening commitment to China
As the second China International Import Expo gets underway in Shanghai on Tuesday, General Electric, the chair of the Exhibitor Alliance, is debuting a number of new products and solutions, which it says demonstrate its continued commitment to the China market.
With solutions spanning the aviation, healthcare, energy ecosystem, oil and gas, and advanced manufacturing sectors, the GE booth at the CIIE will touch on all of the company's major operations in China.
Noteworthy new products on display include a CT scan that features artificial intelligence deep learning image reconstruction technology, as well as the world's first titanium alloy 3D-printed wheel, which exploits the advantages of additive manufacturing through electron beam melting technology, and is currently being used on McLaren's P1 hybrid sports car.
