World: Largest tree house destroyed by fire
The world's largest tree house was reduced to ashes last week by a fire. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still unknown. The Minister's Tree House stood at 30 meters and, with terraces and staircases, spread across seven massive trees. It was a landmark in the city of Crossville, Tennessee, in the United States and an iconic landmark. It was built by Horace Burgess, an architect-turned-pastor. The 10-story building took more than a decade to complete. It was closed as a tourist attraction in 2012 due to the dilapidated condition of the structure.
